I bought the drive as an upgrade for my home theater system (HTS). Replaced my Oppo HD-981 up-converting DVD player. My experience with the device is mixed.
Video for the device via the HDMI output for HDTV Panasonic connected. And 'the Outlaw pre-amp connected through its 7.1 analog outputs (only 5.1 on the ability to pre-amp) for audio. My HTS is set as a system of 5.1-USE
